After sending in a Nintendo Power magazine subscription slip, should I get an e-mail confirmation?

About a week ago I sent in a slip to get a Nintendo Power magazine subscription. It’s been a week and I haven’t heard anything from them. Should I get an e-mail confirmation or anything, or do I just wait until I receive the first issue? I just want to make sure that they actually received my sign-up.
